The Foxcroft Fx-1500 series of toxic gas leak detectors are perfect for monitoring a gas container storage generation, or use area. the remote display unit can be located in a control room or safe area, outside or away from, the potential gas leak. Warning and Danger alarm levels are set to specific points for the gas being monitored. A third low level alarm (typically 0.5 PPM for most gases), is incorporated in the unit to alert personnel of slow leaks before they become a major problem. A fourth "cell failure" alarm levels indicates if there is a problem with the sensor, or wiring to the sensor. All alarm levels are available for connection to external equipment via configurable really contact outputs. External equipment can be anything that is activated by a dry relay contact, such as; alarm beacons, horns, auto-dialers, fans, or emergency shutoff valves. An optional 4-20 milliamp retransmission output available for connection to SCADA systems, or chart recorders. Special alarm levels and ranges are available on written request. An optional battery backup/ surge protector is also available for applications where AC power is unreliable, or must be maintained in the event of a power failure. |
| What this Gas Detector Can Do: The FX-1500 Gas Detector is designed to give an early warning of developing toxic gas leaks or low oxygen levels by monitoring the air. When it senses toxic gas or low oxygen levels, it sounds its built-in horn and flashes its red blinking LED. The FX-1500 Gas Detector provides 3 alarm trip levels, with each level indicating specific concentration of toxic gas or percentage of oxygen. |
