WARNING Appropriate positioning of the sensor is imperative to the operation of the detector. Location will either result in rapid alarming of hazardous leaks o low oxygen levels or it can delay or fail to warn of a hazardous. |
| WARNING Correct installation of the sensor depends mostly on what type of gas the detector is monitoring the air for. If the gas is heavier than air, then the sensor should be placed closer to the floor. If the gas is lighter than air, then the sensor should be placed high up on the wall, nearer to the ceiling. |
